Inertial Navigation
The market has long needed smaller, more accurate and lower cost inertial navigation systems. MEMS has achieved this for consumer and automotive grade systems but has struggled to achieve the performance necessary for tactical and navigation grade applications.
SMG’s resonant MEMS technology has the ability to change this. We are working to have a navigation grade MEMS IMU that will fit in the size of a match box and at a fraction of the cost of existing products. As the world moves to more and more requirements for accurate positioning, this will position SMG as a key technology enabler for the motion and positioning markets
Our markets are wide ranging but include:

We refer to our products as Generation 1 and Generation 2. Generation 1 will be commercially available in 2022 with Generation 2, our true game changer following in 2023.
